For each 100 liters of the bath, add to
the water with stirring the following : |

ENCEE PHOS 3 |
15 to 50 litres |
|
|
|
|
The amount of ENCEE PHOS 3 varies in
proportion to the rust and soil. Lower concentrations should be used
for light rust and higher concentration for heavy rust. |

METHOD OF APPLICATION |
|
Apply ENCEE PHOS 3 by sponge or steel wool or by nylon brush
liberally to the surface. Allow the chemical to react. If on

OPERATIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS |
|
The initial change and replenishment
data contained herein are normal for most applications. Any
variation necessary will be advised by out technical personnel,
on the basis of local conditions. The bath should be operated at
the lowest temperature practicable for processing the work in
time. Since the strength of the ENCEE PHOS 3 bath and the
operating temperature affect the cleaning time, these factors
should be adjusted so that the treatment will be completed in
the desired time and not more that 10 to 20 minutes. |
|
|
|
DRYING PAINT - BONDING COATINGS |
|
Parts coming from the ENCEE PHOS 3 should be dries in an oven or
by other means which will not contaminate the metal with fumes,
oil or partially burnt gases. In many cases, heavy gauge metal
will retain enough heat to dry completely and rapidly without
using an oven. Products
with cavities or pockets which trap moisture should be blown dry
with a jet of clean, compressed air. Moisture splatters should
be dried with clean cloth.
If handling of the dried,
un-oiled or unpainted work is necessary, operators should wear
clean cotton gloves. |

|
|
EQUIPMENT DETAILS |
| The
equipment for ENCEE PHOS 3 stage should be made up of stainless
steel, milk, steel, rubber lined or any acid resistant metal.
All heated tanks should heated by
steam plate and side heating (preferred for more even
temperature distribution) or other heat sources capable of
heating the bath to the specified temperature coils for the
ENCEE PHOS 3 stage should be made of Stainless Steel or any
suitable acid resistant coated hangers, and hooks should be
provided to carry the work through the various stages. |
